| As regards social responsibility, we have set-up the Oil Palm Extension and Development Center to conduct R&D tasks to support sustainable growth such as barn owl breeds development (a natural predator to control rat population in palm plants) and oil palm varieties development. Additionally, the center is aimed to act as an education center for farmers and communities to boost up their skills through our knowledge and experience in oil palm plantation via our facility (e.g. demonstration rooms of plantation and laboratory rooms) which is opened for visitors up to the present time. |

| Since the three factors that influence oil palm productivity are variety, farm management and environment. We see one important factor that can help farmers boost up their productivity is excellent varieties. We then set up the oil palm variety development project since 2005. The project uses varieties from the company’s plantation that have output record more than 10 years to be male and female breeder. The project uses its own breeders that has been planted in the country for 20 years and has a systematic process of variety development under supervision of scholars who specialize and has expertise in this discipline. As a result, the oil palm varieties derived thereby are suitable for the country climate. The breeder will be brought to produce seeds to sell farmers at last. It is amounted to 8 years for developing such varieties to farmers. |

Good news for farmers who want to use seedlings of Tenera (a cross variety between Dura and Pesifera), certified by Department of Agriculture, in their plantation. Beyond cultivating in our plantation, we also sell these seedlings to farmers in reasonable price. At this time, we are opened for reservation of seedlings cultivated in 2009, just THB 85 each seedling.
Hereby, we would like to thank you for the reservation of our seedlings cultivated in 2008 which is presently closed for reservation already.
